The Toronto EDSS Calculator helps healthcare professionals and researchers compute the Expanded Disability Severity Score (EDSS) for patients with Multiple Sclerosis. The application facilitates the rapid and accurate calculation of the EDSS using Kurtzkes algorithm. Additionally, instructions and videos are included to help grade each functional system accurately. The final output of the application is a screen summarizing all functional systems along with the EDSS, which can be saved as a picture or printed and added to a chart.

The application was developed at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada.

Thanks to the patients who agreed to be filmed for educational purposes.

Easy to use. Very nice application, good for standardization of edss

Extremely helpful app for those working with MS patients. Videos are a great addition.

Some bad moments

I had not been following my several MS patients quantitatively, as I do my acute stroke patients, but with this excellent CLINICAL TOOL, will certainly do that prospectively.
